Will the machine stop after 5 minutes?
No, pilot executive model run continuously and works on single-phase continues duty motor.

Incase of any blade damage, should I replace the entire blade assembly?
No, the pilot paper shredder has the facility to remove the individual replaceable blades.

Should I have to lift the operating mechanism to remove the shredded Paper?
No. Pilot M/C have a detachable bin.

Is the circuit grounded?
Yes, the circuit is totally grounded, hence no earth leakage in system.

Should I have to carry the machine in case I have to change the location?
The machine is mounted on castor wheels. Hence no need to carry the machine. It is mobile.

Do I have to remove the stapler before shredding?
There is no need to remove the stapler

How is the noise level?
In load condition it is 75 db, and in no load is 65 db.

What is the warranty period?
It is 12 months.

Binding Machines

What are the different kind’s of binding
We have wire binding, comb binding, & thermal binding. Wire binding is a metal loop where the punching is done mechanically and the metal loop is also closed mechanically. Wire binding has various applications like calendar with hanger, desktop calendar, workbook &manuals. In a wire binding once the loop is closed it is not possible to open the loop and insert the paper, in case of addition and deletion we have to open the loop and insert with a new loop, opened loops cannot be reused again.

Advantages
It can rotate the paper on 180 degree on flat bed, hence it is easy to read the paper or write. It is very convenient to take photocopies. It is also very convenient to send the wire bound books on courier. In a wire binding it is not possible to tamper the documents by removing through the wire loops.

What is the speciality of renz wire binding?
Renz wire bind machines have two-lever punching system. One lever is used for punching and other used for closing the loops.

What is a comb binding?
It is the conventional type of binding, where a plastic pipe of a small diameter is cut into half into one half as plain and other half into plastic grooves. The diameter of the groove generally is 4mm. it can accommodate upto 450 sheets.

How many sheets can it punch at a time?
It can punch 20 sheets at a time of 70 gsm

What is the unique feature of renz?
It has individual replaceable punching dies. it has facility to have disengage the punching keys. It has two levers, one for punching and one for inserting the paper directly.

What do you mean inserting the paper directly?
Generally the conventional models done locally have only one handle, first it is used for punching and then its used for opening the combs. You have to separately keep the paper; there can be mix up or any thing. In a renz two lever system, one lever is used for punching and other lever will keep the plastic comb open and punched paper can be inserted simultaneously, hence one operation is saved, no mix up of papers and faster binding.

Can we insert papers or delete papers?
Yes, you can insert or delete paper by opening the comb.

For heavier books do we have margin adjustment?
Yes, we can adjust the margins

Thermal Binding

What is thermal binding?
The papers are stacked in a folder, which has glue on left side closure, in the heat process the glue melts and holds the paper in a book form.

Where is the folder placed?
It is placed in the heater plate of the thermal binder.

How much time it takes for the glue to melt?
Roughly between 2 to 3 minutes

Once bound in thermal form is it possible to remove the paper?
It is not possible to remove we can only cut the paper

Barcode Printers

What is a bar code printer?
There is nothing called bar code printer. It is the thermal transfer printer, which also prints the bar codes.

What is the application of thermal transfer printer?
Where a label has to be printed with a variable text, batch number, date of manufacture, serial number, warranty date etc.

Can a thermal transfer printer print a bar code with human readable text?
It can not only do the above but also print images and marks
